In recognition of Herb Hamblen’s many years of service and his heroic efforts on behalf of the parks, the City of Spokane dedicated the Herbert M. Hamblen Conservation Area in 1994. Please join us as we unveil the newly rebuilt plaque and honor the continuing legacy of Herb Hamblen.

RSVP to Heather at 326-5233.

The ceremony will take place at the Hamblen Overlook (noted as interest point 6 on the map), which is located at corner of Nettleton and Ohio Streets. Street parking can be found along Summit and Nettleton, with limited parking on Ohio.
