1st Annual Corporate Donor Appreciation Breakfast

September 29, 2014

It was a beautiful day - and the rain stayed away, allowing us to celebrate our corporate donors while overlooking the new Huntington Park.

This was the first time that we have been able to thank all of our business partners in one place and acknowledge all that their investment in the community accomplished.

Chief among the accomplishments was the establishment of the Riverfront Park 2020 Fund (from the proceeds from the Expo '74 40th Anniversary Gala and Celebration) and, of course, our Make A Splash program and the 17,000+ swims made possible by the community.

Ginny Bott, our incoming Development Committee Chair, thanked our guests for their support and announced that as of that morning over $72,000 had been raised from businesses and corporations - an increase of 361% in our corporate donations over all of 2013.

We wish to thank all of the many businesses who have already supported the Parks Foundation in 2014. Please join us in thanking them for their investment in the community:
