Parks Foundation Announces Corporate Giving Tree

September 29, 2014

It was the perfect place to celebrate our success and announce our plans for the future - overlooking Huntington Park, the ultimate corporate investment in parks and community.

Ginny Bott had the honor of sharing that in 2014 we have increased our corporate gifts by 361% over last year - and that we have founded the Corporate Giving Tree to expand on that success.

"The new Corporate Giving Tree will help us to better thank the many wonderful partners that we have in the business community," said Heather Beebe-Stevens, Foundation executive director. "We had amazing success in forging new partnerships with businesses through our Expo '74 40th Anniversary Gala, and we look forward to continuing our work to strengthen the community."

The Parks Foundation has a short history of corporate involvement, but a long history of making strategic investments that strengthen the community economically, physically and civically. Over the past two years we have been cultivating relationships with likely supporters and engaging with corporations on how their investment of not just their treasure, but also of their time and talent can help push Spokane to new heights. The Corporate Giving Tree provides a new vehicle for establishing those relationships that will lead to a stronger, healthier community.

The Corporate Giving Tree levels were first created for that Anniversary Gala, and have been adapted to work with the Foundation's ongoing operations.

Legendary Leader - $2,500+

Champion - $1,000 - $2,499

Hero - $250 - $999

Celebrity - $100 - $249

Each level comes with a variety of benefits, ranging from donor gifts to exclusive tours that businesses can use as part of their client development or employee retention programs.
